Four jobs you’ve had in your life:

  • Clerk in doctor’s office: I billed, I was a gopher, I had access to all your medical records!
  • Radio DJ: Dinky little station, ended up being more a producer/engineer
  • Fast food cook: at The Soda Shoppe, baby!
  • Software developer: Lots of places now

Four movies you could watch over and over {In no particular order}:

    Four places you’ve lived:

Four TV shows you love to watch:

  • Mythbusters. I’m very in-touch with my inner (and outer) geek. Besides, Jamie reminds me of my older brother.
  • Good Eats, with Alton Brown. Food, based in science, in an offbeat manner. (I told you I was in touch with my inner geek.)
  • Iron Chef. Love the camp on this one. I think I’ve seen all the episodes, but I’m not compulsive enough to actually check. Allez cuisine!
  • A Cook’s Tour. Chef/writer Anthony Bourdain eats his way around the world.

Four places you’ve been on holiday:

  • Spain: Summer after high school graduation. Saw the Olympic torch at the base of Montjuic in Barcelona; visited Madrid, Toledo, Málaga, Sevilla, Có.
  • London, England: About six years ago. Kathy lived there for three years growing up; we were visiting friends of her family.
  • Punta Cana, Dominican Republic: 7 years ago(?); our little trip for fun the in the (bloody hot) sun. I still remember the thatched roof on the international airport.
  • SF, Monterey, and Napa, California: 1997. The honeymoon.

Four albums you could listen to anytime:

  • U2: Sunday Bloody Sunday
  • Machines of Loving Grace: Concentration
  • The Doors: The Best of The Doors
  • Alice In Chains: Jar of Flies

Four websites you visit daily:

Four favorite foods:

Four places you’d rather be:

  • Portland, OR (especially here)
  • London, England
  • Monterey, Calif
  • The Oregon coast

Now, the original list would have me tag four more folks to play the game. Since I’m a big believer in opt-in, you can play along if you’d like. Instead, I offer the following gang of four:

Four books you’ve read recently or are currently reading:

Now it’s your turn should you chose to do so.

  2. Good to know you still have a U2 album among your favorites. I wouldn’t have thought it any other way. I believe it was yourself who introduced me to that great Irish band.

  4. I didn’t know you liked Pho. My girlfriend’s (wife) sister makes the best Pho in the world.
