…in the punchbowl

On this Mother’s Day

I wish I had a big bouquet of roses for you…

I wish your grandchildren could give you a hug; that you could play with them and do crafts with them (well, at least with the eldest).

I wish I could give you a hug…

I wish you could meet my wife…

I wish you and Dad could have grown old together…

But most of all…

I miss you, Mom.

  1. (As a big tear rolls down my cheek)
That’s the most genuine, sincere, amazingly sweet Mother’s Day sentiment I think I’ve ever heard.
Your mom would be proud of her baby boy.

  2. I don’t think I’ve ever heard you be so open…and so emotional. I love you, hon…and I wish she were here, too.
